The Abacus Science Kit (Desert survivors™) comes with a range of equipment to assist in learning more about different breeds of animals and plants that survive in the desert. This kit provides students with the materials necessary to hold different experiments that will improve their understanding of evolutionary biology, meteorology, and Australian wildlife.

In the classroom, the Abacus Science Kit (Desert survivors™) is ideal for teaching students about how different weather conditions affect the evolution of animals and plants. Students can conduct tests by using the measuring cups for liquids, leaving liquids out in the sun, testing them with thermometers and timing the evaporation process. This kit serves as a great demonstrational tool or as a precursor for going on a class trip to the bush. Containing enough equipment, materials, and consumables for 30 children, students have the option to work independently or buddy up for experiments.
