This Buzzle game helps students practise their addition of the numbers 1 - 10 whilst having fun at the same time.
Play learning
Here’s how the game works in general:
- To start a turn, players must spin the spinner, and move forward based on the number of spaces indicated by the spinner
- Once a player lands on a block, they must attempt to solve the addition problem indicated on the block
- The correct answer is indicated underneath each block
- If the player answers the problem correctly, they can have another go at the spinner
- If the player answers incorrectly, they will lose a turn
- The first player to reach the finish line wins
The rules of the game may be changed somewhat. For example, if a player answers incorrectly, they may be asked to move backward with a certain number of spaces instead of simply losing their turn.
