The Core® balance provides a convenient and easy yet an accurate way for basic weighing.

The balance is made from impact-resistant ABS plastic for durability and stainless steel for easy cleaning in busy classrooms and laboratories. Its stackable design saves space.

The Core® balance comes with backlit LCD with options to keep the lights on only when weighing, always on, or always off. The dual TARE buttons come in yellow colour while the unit and on/off buttons have black border around it for quick recognition.

Versatile application

The balance allows you to switch between various weighing units which means it can be used for checking and comparing the weights in varying weighing units.

Ideal for industries, classrooms, and laboratories, the Core® balance also comes with a hook to weigh below the balance which allows density and gravity measurement.

Specifications

The CQT 1501 can be used for weighing items ranging from 0.1g upto 5000g in various units (ct, dr, g, GN, kg, lb, N, oz, tl.T). The height of the digits displayed on the backlit LCD is 18mm. Its repeatability is 0.1g and linearity is 0.2g.

The 120mm pan comes with round removable draught shield to reduce errors cause by air current. The zero-tracking feature ensures that the display returns to zero reading. The draught shield has a diameter of 130mm and height of 90mm. The overall dimension is W 171mm x D 250mm x H 80mm. 

It is powered by AC adaptor (included) and six AA batteries (not included). It's auto-off feature saves energy while its ShockProtect^® feature helps to avoid internal damage due to overload. It also comes with audible alarm in case capacity of the balance is exceeded.
