These colourful isometric double-sided geoboards have an 11 x 11 pin grid array on one side and an 11 x 10 triangular pin grid on the other side.
Each set includes 6 coloured boards and 24 elastic bands, which can be used by students to experiment with different geometric shapes. This equipment will help develop students’ knowledge on coordinates, angles, symmetry, and shape.
Develop problem solving and reasoning skills
In the classroom, the pin grids provide students with a better understanding of calculating units of measurement to create geometric shapes. The process of physically creating shapes contributes to students’ problem solving and mathematical reasoning skills.
The six boards can be used in groups for activities related to lessons, or teachers can use these boards to demonstrate different shapes. There are a multitude of ways to utilize these geoboards when teaching geometry and measurement.
