Description / Dr Paul Swan's Probability Spinner Board - Set of 32

These spinner boards are excellent for visualising the concept of probability. Designed by Dr Paul Swan, students will enjoy flicking the spinner and recording the results of a series of spins. Results can then be compared for the different scenarios.

Simple to use

The boards are split into six colourful circles, which are segmented to offer varied probability scenarios. The bright array of blue, green, red, yellow, orange, and purple segments are well-defined, making it easier for students to identify which the spinner has landed on.

Peace and quiet

Spinner boards offer a suitable alternative to dice as a probability resource, especially as the spinners don’t make noise when used. This is perfect in a classroom environment, where you may have multiple students/groups working on activities at the same time.

Probability is one of the key topics taught in primary mathematics. A set of 32 boards enables the whole class to work simultaneously on themed tasks. Equally the boards lend themselves to fun and engaging group work.
