Description / Dr Paul Swan's Spinner Boards - Mixed Pack (Number and Probability)

This mixed spinner boards pack makes it easier to visualise the concept of number and probability. Designed by Dr Paul Swan, the idea is simply to flick the spinner and record the results of a series of spins.

Simple to use

Each probability spinner board is divided into six colourful circles, which are segmented to present varied probability scenarios. The vibrant array of blue, green, red, yellow, orange, and purple segments are clear and distinct, making it easier for students to identify which the spinner has landed on.

The number spinner board is made up of six different spinner options. Choose to use the numbers 1-4, 1-6, 1-8, 1-10, 1-12, or 1-20. The choice enables flexibility when adjusting the difficulty level of maths activities to suit your students’ developmental stage.

Peace and quiet

Spinner boards make a quiet alternative to dice, as the spinners are self-contained and don’t make noise when used. This is ideal for the classroom environment, particularly if you have multiple students/groups working on activities at the same time.

Number and probability are one of the key topics taught in primary mathematics. A wallet of sixteen boards allows multiple groups of students to work simultaneously.
