Our modern scale provides students with an interactive way to learn units of measurement. 

This stainless-steel electronic scale can be used for weighing various items that measure up to 5kg maximum. The scale has a digital screen that reads the kilograms and grams in red numbers, with four touch screen switches on either side. On the right side is the TARE and on and off switch, whilst on the left side is the water-weighing and energy saving switch.

Measure varying volumes

To reset the scale or learn the net weight of an object, press the TARE button that sits alongside the on and off switch. Adding weight in increments and then seeing the net weight helps students to draw the connection between different units. 

In the classroom, this scale is best suited to studying measurement and volume. During maths lessons the scale can be used for weighing different manipulatives and using this knowledge to calculate the weight of larger objects. Scales are very useful in science classes for measuring out supplies for experiments or determining the mass of an object.
