Exploring symmetry and reflection
Put any object like a pattern block near one of the flexible mirrors. Bend the mirror in any direction, and observe how the shape of the mirror changes the shape of the object’s reflection. Alternatively, move the object whilst the mirror is folded in a specific shape. Observe how the reflection of the object changes as it’s moved, and use this information as a point of discussion in class.
