It’s much easier to explain the features of a clockface, and how to tell time, with the use of a demonstration clock. This kit includes a large, geared demo clock, along with 12 smaller clocks for student participation. All are made from a durable plastic, well suited to the classroom environment.

Large demonstration clock

Ideal for classroom demonstration, the clockface is a bright yellow, with bold red numbers showing the hour markings. Smaller, dark numbers note the minute graduations for 5, 10, 15, etc. The colour-coded hands will help children and adults describe their process when reading the time.

Geared up for group work

With 12 clocks, a group of students could work along with a demonstration individually or in pairs. Visual, hands-on learning is an excellent way to reinforce key concepts.

Learn to name the components of the clockface, read time, and predict what adding or subtracting an hour will look like.
