Description / Georeflector Mirror
A geomirror is designed such that it reflects one side whilst allowing you to see through the mirror itself. This makes it an excellent tool for analysing the symmetry of a shape, and guides students when they’re drawing.
Beyond maths and science
Draw any shape, and put a line of symmetry through it. Place the length of the mirror on top of the line of symmetry. Based on what’s shown in the mirror versus the actual drawing, determine if the drawing is symmetrical or not.
Such activities will also encourage students to discuss and critically think regarding other topics such as measurements, angles, and more.
