Play learning

Put a variety of small objects like marbles and counters in a translucent Gratnells tray. Then, students can try to pick up objects using the scoopers as per your instructions. For example, you can say ‘pick up 5 red counters’, or ‘pick up 2 yellow counters and 3 green marbles’. This activity also helps practise numeracy.
