Clever design

The Highland® precision balance comes with backlit LCD with options to keep the lights on only when weighing, always on, or always off. The dual TARE buttons come in yellow colour while the buttons have black border for quick recognition.

The balance is made from impact-resistant ABS plastic for durability and stainless steel for easy cleaning in busy classrooms and laboratories. Its stackable design saves space and the adjustable feet of the balance ensure proper balance for accurate results.

Comes with ShockProtect^® to help prevent internal damage due to overload and audible alarm in case capacity of the balance is exceeded. It also allows internal calibration with Handical^® and external calibration allows verification and adjustment with weights. The zero-tracking feature ensures that the display returns to zero reading. 

Versatile application

The balance allows you to switch between various weighing units which means it can be used for checking and comparing the weights in varying weighing units. Ideal for classroom, laboratories, and industries, the Highland® precision balance also comes with a hook to weigh below the balance which allows density and gravity measurement.

Specifications

The HCB 1002 can be used for weighing items ranging from 0.01g upto 1000g in various units (ct, dr, dwt, g, GN, lb, mm, N, oz, ozt, T, tl.H, tl.S, tl.T). The repeatibility is 0.01g and the linearity is 0.02g. The height of the digits displayed on the backlit LCD is 18mm.

The 120mm pan comes with round removable draught shield to reduce errors caused by air current. The zero-tracking feature ensures that the display returns to zero reading. The draught shield has a diameter of 132mm and height of 90mm. The overall dimension is W 174mm x D 252mm x H 80mm.

This balance is powered by AC adaptor and internal rechargeable battery which has a battery life of 24 hours maximum. It's programmable auto-off feature saves energy. The HCB 1002 also comes with USB and RS-232 interfaces that allows printing and data collection on your computer.
