Description / Knife Switch - Single Pole

This knife switch introduces students to the magic of electric circuit manipulation.

Clear demonstration of open and close circuit

Attach two wires (one from the power source and one towards the tool/appliance to be powered) to the slots in the base of the switch and move the knife accordingly to clearly demonstrate how open and close switch.

When the knife is pushed down, it completes the circuit, thereby, allowing current flow whereas lifting the knife stops current flow.
