If you’re looking for UniLink® Cubes to spice up your maths lessons, look no further than our store. Our UniLink® Cubes are available in multiple colours, and come with a booklet packed with ideas on how you can use the cubes in the classroom.

The cubes are available in sets that can be used by the entire class. They also come with handy boxes where you can put them away neatly once class is over.

Activity Ideas:

  • I spy (a fraction). With UniLink® cubes, you can illustrate fractions. For example, if a stack has two yellow cubes on top and three blue cubes at the bottom, you can ask your students what fraction they’re seeing. (Answer: it’s â…”).
  • 3D bar graphs. UniLink® cubes can be used to better demonstrate how bar graphs work. If you make a stack of two blue cubes, and make another stack of three yellow cubes, then you’re showing that the two blue cubes represent two ‘units’ of something and that the three yellow cubes represent three ‘units’ of a different thing.
  • Guessing game. Put a group of cubes in different colours inside a jar, and have the students guess how many colours of each cube are there. This is a good way to exercise their statistical and probability skills.
