More About PVC Dice
Included in our range are numbered or dotted dice with 6, 10, and 20 sides. Whilst sold individually, these dice can be purchased in bags, and boxes, such as the jumbo place value dice set which comes with 24 different coloured dice.
In the classroom, these are an ideal demonstrational device for teachers due to their massive size. Alternatively, students can use these in a whole class game of cards, or pair up to ask each other maths questions related to the digits on the dice.
Activity Ideas
You’re on a Roll
In a group, set up a hula hoop on the ground and try rolling your dice inside it. Every time the PVC dice lands inside, write down the upwards-facing number on the dice and roll them again into the hoop. The person to reach the highest score on paper wins.
Numbered and Dotted
Try using the 6-sided numbered and 6-sided dotted dice together when playing games. This encourages students to translate the different digits and gain a greater understanding of mathematical language.
Count to it
The PVC 6-sided numbered dice come in a bag of 10, which is perfect for practising counting. In groups of 5-10 people, each student can roll a dice and add all the upwards-facing sides together. The first person to add all the dice together wins.
