These Junior Learning Maths resources cover subjects such as operations, fractions, place value and more. Students can jump around on Number Footprints, have a pop at the Hundreds Bubble Board, and build a board game with Number Tracks.

Activity Ideas:

  • Guess the number. This game uses our Number Line Wall Border. Cover the bottom numbers with a white sheet of paper, and ask students to guess what number is being shown by the blocks.
  • Pie puzzle. Using Fraction Segments, students will attempt to form a complete circle based on slices that correspond to specific fractions. For example, a complete circle would have 12 pieces with ‘1/12’ on them; alternatively, it could consist of ‘½’, ‘¼’ and ‘¼’.
  • Flash those facts. We have flashcards for various arithmetic operations, including addition and multiplication. Show the side of the card with the problem (e.g. ‘5 + 3 = ?’) to your students, and only reveal the side with the solution (e.g. ‘8’) once a few students have given their answers.
