Need supplies to teach maths using a magnetic whiteboard? We’ve got you covered.

We have magnetic counters, magnetic fraction pies, magnetic whiteboard erasers and even magnetic storage bins. Let your students have fun sticking these objects on the whiteboard - and have the lessons ‘stick’ in their minds whilst they’re at it!

Activity Ideas:

  • What time is it? Using our Magnetic Whiteboard Clocks, teach students to tell time. You can move the clock hands to indicate a time and ask students what time it is. Alternatively, you could call out a specific time, and have your students move the hands on the clock corresponding to that time.
  • Show me the money. The Double-Sided Magnetic Money Set will be useful for this activity. You can write an instruction on the board like ‘Show me 20c’, and students will stick a group of coins on the board corresponding to that amount. For example, they could stick 3 10c coins and one 5c coin, or one 20c coin, one 10c coin and one 5c coin.
  • Counting with Cuisenaire®. Cuisenaire® Rods have been scientifically proven to improve the maths abilities of children who otherwise struggle with traditional learning methods. Use these rods to demonstrate various maths concepts including addition, subtraction, etc.
