Mini-Geofix Set - 700 pieces
Description / Mini-Geofix Set - 700 pieces
Using four key shapes (hexagons, pentagons, squares, and triangles), it is possible to create a wide variety of 3D models. The plastic pieces readily clip together with a hinge like joint. Building activities are perfect for developing problem-solving, design and planning capabilities, whilst nurturing fine motor skills.
Versatile resource
As a classroom resource, Geofix are a versatile tool for teaching mathematics and science topics. Applicable in the early grades right through to high school to demonstrate volume, perimeter, vertices, angles, spatial relationships, and geometrics.
Engaging appearance
This miniature set of Geofix comes in crystal fluorescent colours for maximum visual impact. Mini-Geofix is compact and perfect for small hands.
The comprehensive set is designed to cater for up to 20 individual students at a time. Or divide into groups to meet the needs of the whole class.
Pieces of the same shape can be fixed together to create mini 3D models of cubes, pyramids etc. Or join different shapes in conjunction to create irregular 3D geometrics and imaginative constructions.
Singularly, the pieces could be used to practise sorting by attribute, learning mathematical language, counting, and sequencing.
