Learning about Australian money

Eight of the ten posters depict clear illustrations of Australian coins: 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, $1, $2, including a helpful ‘actual size’ scale. When practising with replica coins, these resources will assist students in identifying the relative values, and to work through ‘real life’ scenarios.

For each coin there is a detailed explanation of the symbolism; flora, fauna and any notable figures shown, with background information in the accompanying text.
