About OzHarvest
OzHarvest was founded in 2004 by Ronni Kahn. After noticing the huge volume of good food going to waste from the hospitality industry, she decided there had to be a better way.
Starting in Sydney with one van, she delivered 4,000 meals in the first month.
Today, OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, collecting quality excess food from commercial outlets and delivering it directly to more than 1300 charities supporting people in need across the country.
OzHarvest’s purpose is to nourish our country and in order to do this, education is crucial to help enable positive change.

The OzHarvest FEAST Cooking Kit
Students will have a blast splitting into groups, working together to cook a meal, and having a delicious reward for learning. Alternatively, this kit could be used to turn the classroom into a mini restaurant, with each group working on one part of the whole classes’ meal. Perhaps the class wants to go into teams and have a cook off? These are just a few of the many engaging ways to use the OzHarvest FEAST Cooking Kit.
The FEAST cooking kit comes in two jumbo Gratnells trays and provides all the necessary cooking equipment for a class of 30 students.
Kambrook Electric Frypan Set
These six electric frypans are safe and simple for upper primary students to use, with a wattage of 1800W/2000W. The frypan is a great resource for teaching children how to operate electric equipment, practise safety regulations, and be responsible around heated tools.
This equipment also teaches necessary cooking skills that will aid their future lives.
