Building understanding

Units are clearly displayed, helping children to make the connection between the 1m measurement and the transformation into a cubic measure. A metre stick is included for the purposes of demonstrating that every edge has equal length.

Well-made

Made from a sturdy plastic, the pieces are safe for use by young children to assemble the cube. Once complete, you could challenge students to make 1m by 1m faces from newspaper to cover the cube.
