As is typical of Polydron products, the shapes can be readily joined together using a unique clip hinge on the shape’s edge. In the Frameworks Multi Set, the variety of shapes supplied enable students to create large, complex structures, which remain lightweight and classroom friendly. 

Cut-out feature

The cut-out feature of Frameworks allows for the investigation of internal and external structure in terms of angles, faces, edges and so on. 

Sensory pieces

As an accessible practical resource, these shapes appeal to multiple age groups and ability brackets. Each piece is textured on one side for tactile stimulation, and the shapes are even labelled in Braille. All are supplied in four vibrant colours: red, yellow, green, and blue.

In the classroom, Frameworks is particularly useful for developing skills in planning, visualising, and describing 3D shapes, all whilst practising the use of appropriate topic-specific terminology.
