When affixed to the end of a word, a suffix can change or emphasise the meaning of a word. There are several suffixes in the English language, and these cards are designed to cover some of the most common ones.

The Suffixes Flashcards are divided into three sets, namely:

• Cards with green borders cover -s and -es
• Cards with blue borders cover words that don’t change when suffixes are affixed to them
• Cards with red borders cover words that change when suffixes are affixed to them

Each of the cards is double-sided. One side shows the root word ‘+’ suffix, whilst the other has the combined word with the suffix. The cards can be used like classic flashcards for fast, easy recall, or they can be used as quiz materials (with Flashbot serving as the self-correcting tool).
