Description / Word Builders
True to their name, these cards teach young children to build words whilst sounding them out for better understanding and retention.
The cards are double-sided. One side features an image and empty squares with colour-coded buttons underneath the image. The other features the answer/word to be built for self-correction purposes.
Using the letter tiles from the Tri-Blocks Phonics Tub, the students must figure out what the word is. The clues lie in the colour of the buttons vis-a-vis the colour of the letters on the tiles. If the square shows a dash, it means the block to be placed there consists of two letters.
